Re: Human vs Warforged; Ftr vs barbarian
OK . . . truth is their are several truths and they are all right and wrong each in turn at the appropriate times.
that said. As far as I have been in the game it really dose not matter what you play. The term gimp has been tossed around soo much on the ddo forum. fact is you can be successful in ddo playing on a low powered 28pt no specific build with no twink gear. . . I know my main is that way. . . eventualy you will be able to do what ever you want to. the real trick it to figure out what you want you character to do. then look at the forums for info. . put that all together see what fits your style of play condence, ask some questions then find a build or create your own.
it will work out. . .
that beaing said there are some things that work better then others. the problem is in this game the bench mark always seems to be the very bet thing that some body can find and everything else is gimped. . . in truth the game is the bench mark, and like in life there is a huge set of things and every body can do and good sized chunk you have to work at, and a really small bit at the top that you have to be psyco to get at. generaly speaking your new to the game fiddle around some then worry about that top spot.
make your wf .. play em .. heck take em to lv 20 and decide you dont like him and delete him. as long as you had fun playing him you have lost nothing.
that is about 3-4 cp worth
